GLORY TRAIL
Glory Trail was formed in 2006.This versatile group uses a blend of Texas Swing, Old Time Gospel, Country Christian and Blue Grass to reach a large variety of listeners. Glory Trail’s first album was released in 2009. Gary Forsythe, a Nashville producer took on the job of enlisting artist like “Cowboy” Eddie Long on steel guitar and Dave Smith on lead guitar to create a top notch recording for Glory Trail. Within a few months after it’s release “Highway Home” hit the air waves with the songs “Hang On” , “Glory Road” and “Round to it” getting air play.
Pam Ellard began music ministry in 1996. Even though Pam previously performed Contemporary Christian Music, God changed her direction when she was asked to help minister in the local Cowboy Church. She could see great possibilities for evangelism ministry in Cowboy Churches using country music. It wasn’t long before Pam started feeling a strong pull to her country roots. As God began this new work in her the songs began to pour out of Pam’s heart.
Britt Ellard, Pam’s son was “enlisted” to help her out. Britt was a gifted guitarist eager to hone his skills in country even though he had only played contemporary music. He answered the challenge full throttle. His unique style brings great sounds to the group. Britt also shares his gift of voice to round off the groups tight harmony.
Terry Vanlandingham is a hardworking police officer who loves to sing and to share his God given talent with the rest of the world. Terry has a vocal style that has been compared to Clint Black and Garth Brooks. There’s no mistaking the strong country roots in Terry’s voice nor his heart for God.
This group has one desire, to know God deeply and make Him known to others through the great and beautiful power of music. Glory Trail has performed in venues as small as livestock auction barns and as large as rodeo arenas. Whether the audience is one or one thousand the message is still the same…Jesus saves!
