Born and raised in southern Michigan, Stan Johnston revitalizes country gospel with songs that will pull at your heart.  After learning his first three guitar chords from his father, he became a self taught musician having a soulful, unforgettable voice.  His music was influenced by Johnny Cash, but you won't forget his name after you've heard his beat.

Back in the nineties, Stan recorded at The Loft Studio, Boone North Carolina, owned and operated by national gospel artist Tim Greene.  Stan experienced some radio play at that time.  Stan is making a name for himself rapidly as he presents his new anointed songs and he is back songwriting and singing full time.  Most of his new songs would be ideal for use by praise and worship bands.
In 2009, Stan had a song titled 'BELIEVE'  go to national radio.  His new single titled 'JESUS AND THE USA'  was released to radio in May 2010.  Another single titled 'TRAIN CALLED LIFE'  is currently receiving radio play.  Be sure to hear this one with the great train beat rythmn!  Stan recorded his last two CD projects in Gallatin, Tennessee with some of Nashville's finest musicians.
